It Project Manager - It - Privacy & Compliance

10+ years of project / program management experience, including:

• Defining, documenting and completing complex, high impact projects with a great number of interdependencies.

• Articulating clear plans with milestones; holding people accountable to action plans.

• Proactively identifying, assessing, and managing risks that impede successful project delivery.

• Actively prioritizing work to ensure objectives are met.

• Communicating clearly to all stakeholders involved; ability to tailor communications depending on target audience (Executive vs. working team; technical vs. business, etc.).

• Ensuring effective change management occurs throughout the course of the project.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a complex matrix environment to drive alignment and achieve objectives.

• Tenacious in a professional, polite manner.

• Foresees problems instead of solving them, recognizes the needs for flexibility and diverse solutions.

• Ability to understand context - understands the overall 'picture' in most situations.

• Privacy and Compliance experience within Financial Institutions an asset.

• Able to achieve all tasks using own judgement, but does not hesitate to escalate as required when roadblocks outside of span of control arise.

• Can lead medium to large sized groups where required.

• Very strong MS Office suite user.
