IT Project Manager

HubSpoke is hiring anITProject Manageras apermanent employeeto join our growing team! You will plan, establish and oversee assigned medium to large public sector IT projects for various agencies in the federal government.

What you will do

• Working with stakeholders to define and document project charters, project plans (Work Breakdown Structures, resource plans, training plans), project schedules, and project governance frameworks.
• Develop and implement project communication plans and prepare and report ongoing status updates to key stakeholders.
• Establish, track and manage project milestones, budgets and resource requirements
• Execute and document project closeout activities
• Forecast, manage and mitigate risks. Create procedures for determining, developing and implementing solutions.
• Liaise with internal and external government agencies
• Oversee the activities of project team members and monitor project task completion

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience using Project Management methodology, tools, best practices, and demonstrate the ability to bring these to a project that is in implementation,
• PMP certification
• Must have Government Security Clearance at the Secret Level
• Must have experience in preparing and delivering presentations to senior level stakeholders
• University or College Degree in business administration, engineering or equivalent (nice to have)
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Project
• 7+ years of related experience as a Project Manager
