DESCRIPTION:
Robert Half is hiring now for a results-oriented and accomplished IT Infrastructure Analyst to fulfill a role for our Client. The successful candidate will examine, maintain, and replace network cabling, voice/data jacks, and other network-related hardware as necessary, and set up network switches, firewalls, and additional wired/wireless LAN and WAN networking hardware. You will utilize your top-notch technical skills to keep an eye on a complex network performance and other potential problems, and manage them until they are resolved, as well as assist end-user production systems on the factory floor that are linked to our client's network. You will uphold and improve corporate IT policies and practices in accordance with best practices in the industry. Our Client is based in Edmonton, AB.

Requirements
MUST HAVES:

• Understanding of Linux servers
• Working knowledge/experience with VPN (Site-to-Site and Remote);
• Knowledge of Azure and cloud infrastructure
• Possessing CCNA or CCNP credentials is beneficial.
• Five years of closely related experience working in a small- to medium-sized corporate environment in network/system administration and support.
• Working knowledge/experience with DHCP, DNS, VLANs, and Wi-Fi and other network protocols
• Proficient written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of the VMware and Hyperconverged Infrastructure virtualization environments
• Working knowledge of Windows Servers, SQL Servers, Office 365, Teams, and SharePoint
• Taking the initiative and being passionate about achieving success.
• Supporting a 24/7 manufacturing environment experience is a plus
• Knowledge of how to install, configure, and maintain switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of running a data center on-site.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization abilities with the capacity to successfully handle several tasks at once.
• A minimum of a two-year degree in a program relevant to computer systems, with an emphasis on network, server, and storage.
• Working knowledge/experience with Cisco Meraki firewalls and access points;
