Role Specific Accountabilities
- Organize and manage image bank and vendor image workflow to enable smooth weekly GTM assets creation.
- Oversee studio image tracker to ensure on time delivery of assets. Triage image asset requests from designers and other key stakeholders on tracker. Prioritize requests to meet timelines. Keep tracker up to date across all channels
- Create a new cheat sheet for weekly flyer page to minimize designer’s search time. Follow block plan to ensure images are provided across all business units and all regions including French alts. Pick-up images from previous flyers as indicated on block plans.
- Image retouching to ensure images are to brand standards and on time for various projects and weekly workflow. Accountable to outsource as needed when capacity can’t be met internally.
- Working with the internal studio team and external vendors, provide finished retouched images to a variety of internal customers for a wide array of projects.
Knowledge & Skills
Requirements
- Understanding of end use of photography for a variety of customer facing needs including packaging, promotional advertising, fashion, product, food & lifestyle.
- Understanding of colour correction, traditional and digital image retouching.
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven ability to work within tight deadlines
- Postsecondary education in a related field
- Strong time management skills
- Attention to detail
- Able to take direction, apply feedback and work well as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Exceptional eye for detail and composition
- Strong work ethic, pro-active and able to show initiative
Assets
- Minimum of 5 years experience and extensive knowledge of Capture One, Photoshop, and other editing software.
- Experience with retail/commercial photography including fashion, lifestyle and product photography
