Job Description
Adecco is currently hiring a full-time Asset management & Maintenance Engineer to work a long-term contract for a well-established mining and metals company in Kitimat, BC. If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and exceptional communication skills, this remarkable opportunity is tailor-made for you!

  • Location: Kitimat, BC (Must be local to Kitimat or willing to relocate)

Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Is responsible for team training and development, safety compliance, task assignment and productivity.
  • Analyses maintenance data to identify improvement actions for asset strategies and tactics.
  • Collaborates closely with operational and other relevant stakeholders in the performance of duties.
  • Undertakes all post-work execution tasks and maintenance administration to support ongoing computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) data and systems improvement.
  • Governs the effective execution of business-defined maintenance planning processes
  • Collects and collates work management data for review and identification of improvement actions.
  • Prepares for maintenance activities ensuring that all labor, material, and equipment resources are planned for execution.
  • Analyses maintenance data to identify improvement actions for asset strategies and tactics.
  • Identifies and manages strategic maintenance requirements that involve integration across multiple sites or asset groups.


Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with asset management processes.
  • Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
  • Possess a College/Associate degree or bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Must be local to Kitimat or willing to relocate
  • Excellent analytical and prioritization skills.
  • Proven experience in analyzing maintenance data.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as an Asset Management Engineer.
  • Proficiency in computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) data and systems improvement.
  • Computer literacy is essential.
  • Attention to detail is a key asset.
  • Strong communication, logical thinking, and organizational abilities.
