Implement HSE policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Conduct regular safety inspections, and provide guidance and recommendations to ensure compliance with local HSE regulations and company policies.

Ensuring strict compliance with the HSE requirements. Emphasizing on PTW, JSA, Toolbox meetings, PPE wearing, order and housekeeping, waste management. Reviewing method statements and risk assessments for construction, commissioning, and start-up phases.

The HSE Supervisor will supervise perlite production and installation activities as part of the insulation works, for the full containtment LNG tank under construction at JFJV project for LNG Canada.

The HSE Supervisor will lead the production team, alongside with the Site Manager to a safe success of the project.

Responsibilities

• Organization and implementation of site wide initiatives such as:
• Participate in weekly Management HSE Walks – disseminating reports post walk
• Act as liaison with client (EVJV) and/or WorkSafeBC, as directed by direct report
• Participate in morning contractor toolbox meetings – being prepared to speak as required
• Participate in weekly HSE walks (environmental, COVID, contractor walks) – including delegating/entering data into post-walk assessment tools, as required
• Prepare and submit HSE reporting
