The HRIS Analyst is a key member of the Global HRIS team. This role collaborates with HRIS and HR colleagues from around the world – including Canada, USA, Chile, Brazil, South Africa, India, and Australia – to facilitate and support our HR processes and systems, so that HR can effectively and efficiently execute all people-related transactions and operations.


Responsibilities


You will collaborate with a global HR systems team to provide guidance and support to our HR Advisors, HR Coordinators, HR Specialists (with a focus on Mobility), and employees, ensuring that our HR systems optimally enable Hatch’s people processes.


You Will


  • Coordinate and process international and domestic assignments (moving our employees around the world to work on projects), with support and guidance from the Global Mobility Director, HRIS Mobility Specialist, and HR Coordinator team, using the Equus AssignmentPro platform, SAP S/4HANA, and SuccessFactors:
  • Ensure accuracy of all mobilized employees’ records
  • Troubleshoot system and data issues. Resolve data integrity issues.
  • Report on and validate accuracy of mobility-specific data (e.g. allowances)
  • Provide operational support for HR systems (which includes SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors EmployeeCentral, and Equus AssignmentPro):
  • Consult with HR colleagues to elicit, analyze, and document their business process and reporting needs and translate those needs into system/functional requirements.
  • Ensure AssignmentPro correctly reflects Hatch org structure (relationships) and projects
  • Support the enhancement of HR systems by developing, documenting and executing system testing to verify that results match with expected outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user manual(s) and training materials that support HR processes
  • Identify opportunities to continuously improve HR processes and systems.
  • Audit mobility data in AssignmentPro for accuracy, completeness, and consistency with SAP and SuccessFactors
  • Ensure that time-related rules, including attendance/absence quotas are set up appropriately in SAP for all employees on assignment. Investigate and resolve time-related issues (e.g. holiday calendars, vacation, leave quotas)
  • Support system users with their questions and issues; coach and train users, as required


Qualifications


  • Experience with Time Administration in SAP
  • Familiarity with Professional Services, Engineering Consulting, Construction industries is an asset
  • Undergraduate degree and/or HR-relevant post-secondary education
  • 4+ years of experience working with SAP HCM, SuccessFactors, and/or similar HR systems
  • Knowledge of Human Resources policies and practices
  • Proficiency with MS Excel (e.g. pivot tables, vlookup, concatenate, etc.) and working with data (manipulating, organizing, sorting, filtering, analyzing)
