Verity Pharmaceuticals is looking for a Hospital Specialist in the West GTA/Winnipeg region, based out of the GTA. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing and fast-paced organization in the Uro-Oncology and Infectious Disease segments. Verity Pharmaceuticals, an emergent privately owned healthcare company actively promoting
products in the US and Canada, is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial representative to fill the role of Hospital Specialist in the southwest Ontario/Manitoba region. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a growing and fast-paced organization, in the Uro-Oncology and Infectious Disease segments.

Position Summary
The Hospital Specialist is responsible for representing Verity Pharmaceuticals Inc. to health professionals in his/her territory by educating them on our products with the goal of maximizing sales. You will help to arrange medical education events with recognized physicians supportive of Verity products and willing to voice their support. You must be completely knowledgeable of all Verity products (how they work, their dosage and directions for use as well as in-depth understanding of product safety and related reporting) and of medical studies in order to correctly respond to any and all queries and objections. You will develop solid business relationships by calling on targeted health care professionals within various institutions as well as using your own well-established contacts.
The Hospital Specialist is responsible for driving product sales through the promotion of our products and developing strong relationships with customers.
They will be recognized as a trusted, consultative advisor and partner in patient care by the institutional HCP team as well as Verity. The candidate will act as a product expert in academic teaching centers and community hospitals and will identify and develop thought leaders and advocates.
They will generate and sustain support for products on institutional formularies. They will work with customers and institutions to optimize and ensure access, while driving optimization of patient care.
Position Details
·Achieve assigned sales objective for the territory by strategic account management to maximize sales impact.
·Review and analyze market data for developing and implementing account plans that focus on selling to targeted customers.
·Understand and apply knowledge of health care industry, trends, market conditions, and the market access environment.
·Demonstrates highly effective account management skills and exemplary selling competencies. Collaborates with cross-functional team on identifying business opportunities and developing appropriate tactics and strategies.
·Use skills and tools to understand customer needs and adjust sales approach and call execution accordingly.
·Measures and evaluates ROI of KOL/Institutional focused programs.
·Weekly and monthly reporting of territory activities and critical matters.
·Demonstrates deep marketplace, therapeutic, product and disease expertise based on thorough understanding of rigorous scientific principles and data, including mechanism of action, indications, efficacy, safety, etc.
Key Requirements
·Experience in pharmaceutical sales, working with specialists in the following therapeutic areas; infectious disease and/or urology and oncology.
- Candidate must have experience within the Canadian healthcare system.
·Experience working in a hospital environment with hospital-based products, an asset.
·Ability to navigate the institutional systems and develop sound business partnerships with key decision makers.
·Able to facilitate and lead relevant discussions on the clinical and economic benefits of promoted products and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to present consistent data to the customer.
·Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
·Ability to work well under pressure and to adapt positively to change.
·Solid planning and organizational skills.
·Strong aptitude for sales.
·Sense of leadership and teamwork coupled with ability to work well autonomously
·Must possess account management skills.
·Computer proficiency specifically in Microsoft 360 suite and CRM tools.
