Job Description

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a motivated Head of D365 Solutions who will be an active integrator on IT solutions to support our Supply Chain Management teams. You’ll provide support to teams with testing, analyzing, training and driving resolutions pertaining to D365.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Toronto office.


WHAT YOU'D BE DOING IN THIS ROLE

  • Manage and mentor a team of Dynamics 365 F&O professionals, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Troubleshoot matters that arise and be prepared for changing situations as necessary during construction and coordination of projects.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Lead and implement training to improve D365 capabilities for key stakeholders
  • Monitor system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead the development of the system strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives; analyze and understand any gaps within the business that can be resolved with D365 workflows and processes.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, configuration, and processes.
  • Coach and develop team members on their functional and technical skills and knowledge.
  • Manage the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of Dynamics 365 F&O system.
  • Collaborate with the IT Development and Operations team(s) to design and implement solutions to enhance system functionality and performance.
  • Maximize the team’s efficiency, productivity, and performance.


SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO GET THE JOB DONE

  • Demonstrated experience in leading the implementation and optimization of Dynamics 365 F&O system.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute system strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to the use of Dynamics 365 F&O in financial processes, including data security, system access, and data privacy.
  • Experience in working with auditors to ensure compliance with SOX and other regulatory requirements related to Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • Understanding of internal controls and risk management principles, as well as experience with control design and testing within the Dynamics 365 F&O system.
  • Highly organized, analytical, strategic and structured with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Act and its impact on financial systems and controls, specifically related to Dynamics 365 F&O.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing Dynamics 365 F&O operations and strategy. 10+ years people management experience.
