Job Description

Job Post for a Growth Specialist to grow into one of our Growth Strategy Manager roles (Growth Marketing)

We are seeking a customer-facing, coachable sales and marketing strategist. You are someone who can use data to make decisions. You will meet objectives and key results on month-long projects. You will propose the next steps for each client, guiding them to keep working with you.


We’re looking for team members who:

Mandatory Skills:

  • Great project management and time management skills. (NB you will be using Asana project management software).
  • You have strong written and oral communication skills.
  • You have the ability to compare data and analyze it to make informed decisions. (NB you will be using CRM, marketing analytics and reporting software such as Hubspot.)
  • You have a detail-oriented mind, and are efficient. You delight in following checklists and the rules of success.
  • You are a fast learner, committed, coachable and you're technically savvy
  • You enjoy providing more effective and practical ways to improve a process, team, or products.


Types of Tasks:

  • Weekly meetings with COO.
  • Manage content approval process and upload client-approved content to Hubspot.
  • Work with SEMrush and Hubspot to create and execute a SEO strategy and plan.
  • Weekly meetings with client to present progress on OKRs and to identify gaps, changes in strategy.
  • Create content alongside a copywriter and/or designer for the client
  • Weekly meetings with your team members, e.g. PM Copywriter, editor, graphic designer, etc.
  • Work with partners to complete projects and present projects to clients.
  • Plan and lead “growth hackathons”: collaborative sessions with the TW team to generate innovative client profitability
  • Set due dates for you and the PM copywriter to meet OKRs, and make sure they are delivering client modules on time.
  • Track new needs from client and plan for next steps in project management software
  • Using Hubspot, Google Analytics, SEM Rush to analyze data and reports and deliver an improvement plan.
  • Create client project briefs and assist with creating the content strategy as needed.

Tangible Words is a Canada based fully remote growth agency who strives to create relief and profitability for other companies using growth tactics like sales and retention process improvement and digital marketing. We’re a fully remote team of contract-only digital marketers, growth experts, sales professionals, copywriters, web developers, graphic designers, and copy editors. Our team operates on North American business hours, but can live anywhere. We work with clients in an array of industries. We pride ourselves on offering a work environment with flexible hours, and so our team members can design their ideal workday to suit their vision of work-life balance.


You must be available on Mondays and on Thursdays during North American business hours for team and client meetings.

Pay: receive an hourly rate of $25-$40/hour, work 20 hours a week, plus a built-in bonus structure for client renewals.


Contract: This is a non-fixed term subcontractor contract. We hope to have 20 hours a week to offer you and need you available for at least those hours. We cannot guarantee hours but desire to work with you to establish a working relationship, schedule, and timeline that works for our team's growth, and yours.


To hold this contract, you will sign a Non-Compete Agreement with Tangible Words and a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) that will uphold each client-requested NDA Tangible Words signs with their clients.
