Overview:

We are a boutique travel agency, specializing in customized group experiences and we are looking for a professional Group Experience Specialist with an extensive background in leisure groups and airline ticketing. Leisure groups experience is essential, and proficiency with a GDS (preferably Sabre) is required. Since you will be working from home, you need to have a strong work ethic and be a self-starter. You will be responsible for booking groups, so attention to detail and a clear understanding of group contracts is essential in this role. Although most of what you do is behind the scenes, you will build strong relationships with our growing customer base and our crucial vendor partners.

Responsibilities:

· Arrange the booking of all travel components for our custom groups including Air, Hotel, Tours, Insurance and more

· Work with the team in the promotion of our groups by attending Evening Group Presentations

· Assist with travel documentation and ensure compliance with requirements

· Address client concerns from inquiry stage until after they have returned from their trip

· Attend virtual and in-person product presentations and professional development seminars

· Adhere to company standards regarding procedures, policies, and accuracy of work

· Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· Minimum 3 years Leisure Groups or Corporate Travel Experience

· Demonstrated understanding of travel group contracts

· Proficient in GDS ticketing, exchanges, and reissues

· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

· Exceptional organizational habits

· Proven Customer Service skills

· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

· Well-travelled
