As a Travel Agent, you will work on a highly collaborative and fast-paced team. You will be responsible for managing the overall operations of the agency as well as working closely with the Cascadia Motivation Planning department and Travel Operations Managers in securing flights, hotels, and land requirements for their clients. The ideal candidate is someone who has good industry experience and who self-manages with strong organizational skills. Occasional after-hours on-call coverage will be necessary.

The ideal candidate will be based in Red Deer, Alberta, and have the following attributes:

· Comfort in industry systems (Saber/Amadeus)

· Proficient in agency accounting and client base (Trams/Tres)

· Strong communication and negotiating skills

· Interest in continuous improvement in work processes

· Experience in airline ticketing, exchanges, and refund procedures

· Be passionate about travel empowering them to give clients excellent service

· Be able to act as consumers advocate with suppliers

· Have minimum 4 years of experience in a retail/corporate agency environments
