French Teacher/Tutor Grades Jk To 7 Immersion

Learning Tree Tutors is looking for a qualified bilingual French teacher for JK to 7 for French Immersion tutoring. This is for part-time after-school ONLINE 1-on-1 tutoring, with some opportunities for in-person tutoring in central Toronto.. Can you be available two evenings per week (or more) after school, and preferably also some Saturday time? Are you patient, reliable and a good communicator? Are you passionate about teaching?If yes, we encourage you to apply. Requirements are as follows:

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach one-on-one tutorial sessions and create customized lessons.
• Provide homework help, test preparation, and remedial teaching.
• Provide monthly feedback on student progress.

Qualifications:

• Able to teach both French and junior math.
• Experience with the current Ontario curriculum.
• Bachelor’s degree (in addition to teaching qualification).
• Ontario OCT teaching certification, teacher certified in another province, or enrollment in an education degree program.
• French speaker/Francophone or bilingual, who has excellent English communication skills.
• Experience in teaching or tutoring children JK to 7.
• Your preferred location is in central Toronto.

Rate is $30/hr for online.
