About us
We're building an AI assistant that harnesses large language models like GPT4, and thoughtful product design to make people more productive.
Our goal is to create a platform that saves time by automatically handling redundant tasks, surfacing useful suggestions, and completing long, tedious work on your behalf. We envision an assistant that not only understands natural language, but deeply understands human needs and goals. Where creativity is augmented, not replaced, by machines. One that makes complex AI simple and accessible to all.
The role
We're seeking a founding engineer ready to shape our product and culture from the ground up. In collaboration with us, Sully & Homam, you'll create experiences that make AI accessible and beneficial for all. As a founding engineer, you'll have the chance to:
What technical skills do I need?
As a founding engineer your responsibilities will range from tinkering and building the frontend, to diving into the nitty gritty on our backend and core agent logic and architecture.
Some of the technologies we use today include:
- TypeScript
- Next 13 (app dir)/Tailwindcss
- Redis/Postgres/WebSockets
- Express.js

Who are we looking for?

- Knowledgeable in techniques such as chaining prompts, fine-tuning models, and evaluating outputs.
- Experience in rapidly prototyping and iterating on AI systems is preferred.
Note: These skills are not strictly required, as we understand this is an emerging field. More important is your potential and eagerness to rapidly acquire new technical skills as needed. We value raw talent and motivation over pre-existing expertise, and encourage a learning culture.

How much experience do I need?
While a "founding engineering" role might sound daunting at first glance, like it requires 10+ years of seasoned experience, we see things differently.
We value raw skill, talent, and communication ability over simply racking up years of experience. The ideal candidate has around 2 or more years of professional software engineering experience.
What matters most is your potential and eagerness to rapidly learn. We want someone excited to actively expand their skills and knowledge in order to build something great. Previous exposure to startups, scale-ups or high-growth companies is a plus.
Ultimately, we care more about your drive and ability to collaboratively build a product and culture.
