About the role:

The Revenue Processing Supervisor will report to the Director of Business Operations as part of the Central Operations team. The Supervisors will be responsible for supporting month-end close and conducting analyses on revenue drivers and fluctuations in commission share. The position involves consolidating large amounts of data from varying sources to calculate and ensure payment and account balance completeness. The Supervisor is responsible for actioning their team and other teams within the organization to ensure payments and invoices are delivered on time and accurately. We are seeking a candidate who enjoys learning the business and the processes behind the data while also working with others to make account transitions smooth and seamless for our customers. The ideal candidate is someone highly analytical with a continuous improvement mindset who can design better ways to accomplish our tasks.


What you will do:

  • Work with IT to automate the consolidation and computation of revenue data that is currently done manually in Excel.
  • Gain a deep understanding of the various business processes, systems, and quality checks across the organization related to collection processing, revenue reporting and commission recording.
  • Work with accounting, finance, sales, collections, and IT to develop improved process and value-add reports.
  • Perform ad hoc analyses, projects, reconciliations, and other accounting duties as assigned by Management.
  • Standardize and document processes and procedures.
  • Collaborate with Accounting and Accounts Receivables to manage client account balances.
  • Calculate and report key metrics. Reconcile data from various sources. Identify gaps and communicate escalation points for the team.
  • Compile and review commission cheque run data and analyze for completeness, gaps and exception resolution.
  • Oversee the team responsible for the timing and completeness of account changes as it impacts delivery of our cheques and invoices.


What we are looking for:

  • Advanced expertise with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, multiple/complex formulae) mandatory
  • Able to work independently
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 + years of experience in an analytical environment
  • Strong organizational skills and a history of successfully managing multiple projects at the same time
  • Experience with large data volumes and reconciling data across several sources preferred
  • Previous experience supervising a team of up to 8 associates.
  • Basic understanding of accounting required
  • Must be happy working in a collaborative, team environment for projects and initiatives
  • Background in accounting, financial analysis, statistics, sales analysis or a revenue-share environment preferred
  • Experience with advanced analytical tools and/or BI tools a plus
  • Experience working with IT to automate processes preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience with reporting tools and/or accounting systems a plus
