Lyft is hiring an experienced finance manager to support the Transit, Bikes and Scooters (“TBS”) line of business. This is a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in helping build a financial foundation for a rapidly growing, recently public company. We are building our team with people who want to build, improve, and partner with multiple disciplines across the business.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an annual budget and provide monthly and quarterly forecasting and reporting to stakeholders across the organization for OpEx, CapEx, and Inventory
• Maintain a deep understanding of our financial processes and refine them to scale with the growth of the company
• Represent TBS FP&A at sales management and supply chain meetings
• Represent the Finance perspective in cross-functional settings
• Directly support Supply Chain, Engineering, and other stakeholders with ad hoc and periodic analysis, including NPV or ROI analysis of new hardware projects or capital purchases
• Review the monthly & quarter-end close process end-to-end for the Lyft Urban Solutions sub-segment of TBS, flagging any issues/risks through timely variance analysis, and partnering with the Accounting group to manage close timelines, process and reporting
• Provide local leadership for Montreal-based finance team-members

Experience:

• A drive to understand the core issues along with determination to uncover the solution
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate and influence effectively across various departments
• Excellent analytical & problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Detail oriented and highly organized self starter with a drive to dig into complex problems
• BA/BS with 7-10 years of experience in financial planning and/or analytics in a fast-moving environment
• Expert in Excel and/or Google Sheets, experience building complex formulas and manipulating large data sets
• Working knowledge of accounting principles
• Previous experience with Supply Chain or Hardware Product Development preferred

Starting in September 2023, this role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule in the Longueuil office — Team Members will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Thursdays and a team-specific third day. Additionally, hybrid roles have the flexibility to work from anywhere for up to 4 weeks per year.
