Our Brantford office is looking for File Clerks to join the Internal Firm Services team on a 6 Month Contract and own the following responsibilities:

Your Opportunity
Our Brantford office is looking for File Clerks to join the Internal Firm Services team on a 6 Month Contract and own the following responsibilities:
- Timely archiving of files in accordance with Firm requirements, including removal of folders from work areas, preparation of boxes for off-site storage, and updating relevant databases.
- Act as a point of contact with external storage provider, ensuring smooth operation of systems and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Efficiently set up new files as needed, recording them in the system, creating appropriate folders, and applying labels for easy identification and retrieval.
- Accurately maintain and organize all working papers, tax documents, correspondence, and other electronic and paper files on a daily basis, ensuring proper storage in designated areas.
- Manage data related to off-site storage, including regular updates of file listings, transferring archived files to external storage, and conducting annual reviews to identify files for destruction according to Firm guidelines.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an administrative or related role, demonstrating proficiency in handling various administrative tasks.
- Excellent professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with colleagues, clients, and external contacts.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all work undertaken.
- Proficient in working with computer systems and software, with the ability to quickly adapt and learn new systems as required.
