Job Description

Our client in Mississauga in the Technology/Data Management industry is looking to hire TWO File Clerks to join their team to assist in a Document Verification and Filing project! If you have meticulous data entry skills, accuracy, and organization skills, and enjoy working in an analytical setting, we want to hear from YOU! Candidates with previous experience in handling sensitive or confidential information (HR, Data, Insurance, Financial) will be considered an asset!

Position: File Clerk
Positions Open: 2
Employment Type: Full-Time, Contract
Contract Length: 3 months (possibility for extension)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (30-minute lunch)
Location: Mississauga - Robert Speck Parkway (onsite)
Start Date: August 21st, 2023
Salary: $18 - $19/hour

Responsibilities
  • Assist with inventory and organizing
  • Data entry and document verification
  • Remove and file documents required for record-keeping
  • Organize hard copy files into neat boxes for future audits and create a spreadsheet to assist with locating files in the future
  • Review hard copies of employee files and records
  • Prepare and send files to be kept off-site at the storage facility
  • Validate the status of paperwork and whether the file needs to be retained on-site, off-site, or destroyed
Qualifications
  • Experience with MS Office, including MS Teams and Excel
  • Previous experience working with confidential information (HR forms, financial statements, insurance, etc) would be considered an asset
  • Previous experience working in data entry, file management, or document verification
  • Ability to lift up to 44 lbs
  • Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and organization skills
  • 1 + years of relevant work experience
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to problem solve
