What Is In It For You

• Full-time, on-site position (37.50 hours per week)

• 06-month contract with strong potential for permanent employment.
• Hourly salary of 31.44$-35.15$.

Responsibilities

• Respond and action requests through CaFacilities general inbox and FaST.
• Perform all routine and preventative maintenance work.
• Coordinate general facility maintenance at Head Office and branches.
• Regularly lift, move and carry equipment, furniture and supplies up to 22 kg (50 lb.) alone, or if heavier, with assistance of co-workers or aids.
• Set up and configure conference/group meetings in Boatys, training rooms, and meeting rooms as needed. of tasks.
• Support day-to-day operations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Identify areas in need of repair, including systems furniture, carpet, light bulbs, and light plumbing.
• Coordinate Contractor for BAU repairs and schedule maintenance.
• Maintain furniture systems and perform general repairs at GTA locations.
• Practice all safety and emergency procedures. Maintain WHMIS labels and MSDS updates related to caretaking products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with Business Unit Staff/clients, vendors, and service providers.
• Responsible for systems furniture build outs, reconfiguration, and dismantling of workstations for BAU and Projects team.
• Coordinate, and supervise minor projects.

What You Will Need To Succeed

• Post-secondary education (College diploma).
• Display a positive attitude with strong customer focus (internal customers, external vendors).
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to prioritize multiple demands.
• Ability to integrate policy into decision-making.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
