Face-to-Face Fundraising Team Leader - Calgary

As a Face-to-Face fundraiser Team Leader at Up Fundraising, you will fundraise in high foot traffic areas in Calgary, inspiring members of the public to directly support a variety of well-known charities in Canada, supporting your team, and motivating them to excel as social warriors!

Our goal at Up Fundraising is to spread awareness, acquire ongoing donations, and be the voice for those who need it most. In this role, you will develop strong communication, leadership and management skills and work within a friendly and sociable team full of like-minded individuals and in return grow a meaningful career in the non-profit sector.

Location: Calgary

Shifts: Tuesday-Sunday, 10am - 6pm

What your day looks like:

• Working to achieve 3 key fundraiser performance areas; pledge rate, monthly contribution, and average value
• Representing a charity assigned in asking for monthly donations
• Entering donor’s personal and financial information into the electronic database
• Schedule and conduct training sessions for fundraisers to improve their skills and knowledge
• Supervise the overall activities of your team to ensure they are meeting their targets
• Participating in comprehensive training to develop a base knowledge of a charity you will be representing
• Report regularly to the program manager on team performance, challenges, and opportunities
• Meet personal and team Fundraising Targets
• Engaging prospective donors in conversations about the importance of their transformational investment and gradually moving them towards committed financial support

• Previous experience in face-to-face fundraising (streets, door-to-door, malls), and/or any leadership role is an asset
