Responsibilities

• Equipment.
• Operation of Overhead Travelling Crane once training and competency are verified
• Welding.
• Ability to meet specific standards and communicate problems to supervisors.
• Verify the consumable, shielding gas, and welding parameters of the welding
• Perform work efficiently to meet schedule and estimated hours requirements.
• Knowledge of weld faults and causes.
• Keep workspace and relevant equipment organized and free from hazards.
• Welding and weld clean-up of previously inspected and fitted parts.
• Work in accordance with OH&S regulations and Nutana Machine Safe Work Procedures
• And safety rules.
• Read and interpret drawings, weld symbols, and welding procedure data sheets.
• Complete documentation requirements.
• Responsible use of consumables and raw materials.

• Fabricate – layout, cutting, fitting, measuring and verify with quality assurance prior to

Qualifications

• Strong communication/listening skills and ability to follow direction
• CWB W47.1 – MCAW, FCAW, GMAW, SMAW certification is an asset
• General site housekeeping
• Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day.
• Actively participate in all safety meetings
• Positive attitude/team player
• Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed.
