Energy Advisor Jobs

We are seeking candidates interested in progressing their careers as Energy Advisors. If you are a passionate and motivated individual who is a certified NRCan Energy Advisor looking for a service organization, we encourage you to apply. As a highly trained and qualified Energy Advisor, you will perform on site residential Energy Audits in accordance with NRCan standards. You will have all the necessary knowledge and resources to help clients understand measures required to reduce energy consumption.

Responsibilities:

· Learn about the Natural Resources Canada Energuide rating system & achieve certification status

· Perform Residential Energy assessments and modelling using HOT2000

· Flexible workday schedule, availability to work some weekends

· Must be able to work in various weather conditions

· Some physically activity is required (carry 40lbs. short distances, climb small ladders, access crawl spaces)

Requirements:

· Basic knowledge of residential building materials and home construction

· Passionate about the environment

· Attention to Detail

· Time Management Skills

· Communication and Interpersonal Skills

· Analytical Skills

· Access to a computer to complete modelling

· Driver’s License

· Access to vehicle

· Access to Blower Door preferred

Qualifications

· UltimateCertified Energy Advisor designation having passed the foundation and Energy Advisor exams

· Proficient computer skills using HOT2000, email, and other every-day computer programs
