GGC is actively searching for an Employee Experience Specialist.

About this Opportunity
In partnership with our people managers and the People & Culture Team, the Employee Experience Specialist will actively execute full cycle recruitment and provide HR Generalist support to day-to-day human resources activities, HR related topics, projects and organizational initiatives.
In this role, your key responsibilities will include:
Talent Acquisition
· Responsible for full cycle recruitment which includes but is not limited to advertising to create a qualified diverse pool of applicants, screening, assessing, coordinating and conducting interviews, reference checking, background checks, contract development and presentation.
· Collaborate with Employee Experience Business Partner and people leaders on proactive recruitment planning.
· Develop proactive sourcing methodologies to attract both active and passive candidates and create a talent pipeline.
· Provide exceptional customer service to internal stakeholders including a high level of communication on the process and status of open positions.
· Prepares and analyses data to assist in continually improving the recruitment process; identifying trends; recognize challenges and recommend effective strategies.
· Stay informed on trends, best practices, legislative updates and their impact upon attraction and retention of talent.
Onboarding/Off boarding
· Organize and carry out onboarding for new employees and off boarding of exiting employees.
· Continually identify and implement ideas to improve onboarding experience for new hires, including development of Buddy program, check-ins and update as required.
· Conduct exit interviews for exiting employees.
· Identify the common trends emerging out of exit interviews and sharing analytics for improvements.
· Research best practices and ensure improvement in processes.
Human Capital Management System & Analytics:
· Participate in the development, coordination, implementation and maintenance of the Human Capital Management (HRIS) tool.
· Develop HCM resources and training for employees and people leaders.
· Support all staff with set up of their HRMS account, inquiries and troubleshooting.
· In collaboration with the Director, People and Culture and Employee Experience Business Partner, oversee reporting and analytics of key metrics for talent management.
HR Administration & Employee Experience
· Provide HR Generalist support to day-to-day human resources activities which could include employee relations, advice and counsel to people leaders on HR issues and partnering with other People & Culture team members on HR related initiatives.
· Apply organizational policies regarding diversity, equity and inclusivity to processes, communications and customer service.
· Provide general, ongoing support to employees, members/volunteers, responding to/directing inquiries and consulting with the appropriate groups and individuals to support the mission and vision of GGC.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
· Post-secondary university degree, college diploma, or college certificate with an emphasis on Human Resources or Organizational Behavior.
· Minimum of 4 years of experience in a variety of functional areas including talent acquisition, employee engagement, training and development, performance management, compensation and disability management
· Proficiency with MS Office (Office 365) and mastery of other applications including social media.
· Working knowledge of ADP and various modules and reporting functions.
· Proven ability to apply relevant policies, guidelines and legislation with knowledge of employment related legislation (e.g., ESA, Human Rights, AODA, OHSA).
· Superior communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to establish and maintain collaborative, credible and trusting relationships and partnerships with individuals across the organization.
· High level of personal integrity and respect for confidentiality.
· Ability to exercise sound judgement.
· Desire to contribute effectively to a growing diverse team as well as work successfully independently.
Assets:
· CHRP designation or working towards obtaining.
· Experience working in a non-profit or volunteer environment.
· French language skills/fluency (and any other language spoken in Canada).
Starting Salary: $55,231 annually
*Salary based on location, Greater Toronto Area
