Electronic Assembly & Technical Support

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assemble electronic products from components.
• Prepare equipment for shipment to our customers.
• Keep track of inventory on hand and plan replenishments.
• Perform quality assurance and testing.
• Configure Time Access Systems products and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical support to our customers by responding to emails and phone.

Essential skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication (this role is customer-facing).
• General understanding of computing technologies and software such as networking, mobile operating systems, and web-based connectivity.
• Attention to detail and ability to create and follow procedures.
• Mechanical skills in assembly, drilling, wiring, and electronic testing.
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Nice to haves:

• Intermediate knowledge of Windows operating systems, hardware and peripherals, SQL databases, networking, and web-based applications including IIS setup (preferred)
• Post-Secondary education in a technology field (an asset)
• Previous experience in a customer service/support environment (preferred)
• Experience in Sales (an asset)
• Knowledge of low voltage systems (an asset)
• Knowledge of 110/120v electrical supply (an asset)
• Experience with hand and power tools (required)
