Electronic Assembler Jobs

Open to recent graduates in the electrical field! Adecco is currently hiring several temporary full-time Electrical Assemblers, for a trusted manufacturer and distributer of industry leading products in Scarborough, ON. In this role you will be responsible for assembling and wiring electrical sub-assemblies, and read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, and work orders. • Job type: Temporary, full-time, long-term assignment - possibly leading to permanent role
• Pay rate: $18 - $20 per hour - depending on experience
• Shifts: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm, Friday is 7:00 am -1:00 pm
• Location: Scarborough, ON

Responsibilities:

• Maintain stock/inventory levels
• Responsible for meeting deadlines
• Assembling and soldering electronic components
• Troubleshoot electrical assemblies
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders
• Clean, maintain and organize work and desk area
• Fabricate or modify parts, using shop equipment
• Perform related duties as needed by supervision
• Pack finished products for shipment
• Assemble and wire electrical sub-assemblies

Requirements:

• Must have strong hand holdering skills and experience
• Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Regularly required to stand for long periods of time
• Regularly required to use hand tools, air tools, electrical tools

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or related experience
• Ability to understand and follow instructions
• Maintain a clean & safe environment
• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and technical data sheets
• Minimum 2-year Assembly, Machine Operator and/or Manufacturing Experience
• Attention to detail
