Job Brief
Home Inspectors are responsible for inspecting residential and commercial properties.
Employment Status: Permanent Full Time (sub-contractor)
Job Title:Professional Home Inspector
Reports to: Sr. Certified Inspector
Location: Greater Toronto Area (GTA) / Durham Region
Hours: Monday to Friday, possible weekends.

Our mission is to deliver the highest standards of residential home inspections, while creating a positive work environment.
- Daily duties include inspecting properties, writing inspection reports and interacting with home buyers, sellers and real estate partners.
- Each property is unique and requires an inspector who is knowledgeable and communicates clearly with clients. Training and regular guidance will be provided. Strong communication skills are crucial.
- We are looking for an individual that loves meeting new people. The life of a home inspector can be fun, and every home is a new experience.
Skills/Education Required
- Demonstrated professional and ethical responsibility to protect privacy, use confidential information appropriately, and treat sensitive situations with an appropriate degree of tact and discretion.
- Home Inspector Certification (Carson Dunlop, InterNACHI or other recognized educational institution).
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Post-secondary diploma in Engineering or construction-related field is considered an asset.
- Safety footwear is required. Company uniform provided.
- Experience as a Home Inspector or construction/skilled trades experience is considered a major asset.
- Knowledgeable in Ontario Building Code - Part 9.
- Upon a conditional offer of employment, a Criminal Record Check is required. (compensation will be supplied).
- Possess and maintain a valid Ontario Class “G” Driver’s Licence, with vehicle.
