Pipeline Remote Security Jobs

Securiguard is looking for Security Guards for a gas pipeline project in Huston, Burns Lake and Fraser Lake.

Wages: starting at $287 per day (based on a 12-hour shift) plus travel allowance and meals plus accommodation, weekends you earn $364.00 per day

What You Would Do

• Provide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site
• Patrolling of designated areas in an outdoor environment
• Provide perimeter security coverage
• Respond to incident/emergency situations and follow protocol
• Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required
• Radio check ins and security report writing duties
• Observe and report suspicious activity, and report security breaches
• Provide a visual security presence - detecting and deterring unauthorized persons
• Adhere to Securiguard's core Values, Vision, Mission statement

What You Would Bring

• Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving abstract and claims history
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Previous security experience is an asset
• Valid BC Security License
• Comfort working in a wilderness setting
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test
