The Role


We are looking for a talented Director, Treasury Engineering who can help us transform and modernize Global Finance and Risk Functions.


Join our excitement by being a key contributor in architecting a bank of the future using cloud computing and highly available, large-scale, API enabled applications. You will help to ensure we are building a cohesive, future forward bank that leverages enterprise technology assets and best practices surrounding the use of modern software development, deployment, and operations principles.


Is this role right for you?


  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of IT industry best practices, technologies, architectures, and emerging technologies
  • Initiate and deliver technology evaluations and recommendations to modernize Group Treasury applications
  • Work will all areas to create and reuse Global Products
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of current and future state Business Reference Architectures
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of strategic business plans that will be used to create business visions and objectives
  • Work with Segment Leads to create and maintain IT Reference Architectures that are aligned to
  • Business requirements and Enterprise Standards
  • Ensure that Operational Resiliency and Risk issues are addressed all phases of development
  • Develop and enforce best practices for master data management and integration
  • Review new and existing program/project architecture for compliance with IT standards, policies, and architectural plans.


Do you have the skills?


  • Bachelor (equivalent or higher) degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills with the ability to build and foster relationships with business partners, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners and external vendors.
  • 15+ years of software engineering industry experience.
  • Commitment to maintaining a diversified set of skills through continued education and mentoring peers and team members.
  • Experience building, architecting, designing, and implementing highly distributed global cloud-based systems. Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
  • Experience in modernizing legacy systems or similar transformational initiatives
  • Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals.
  • Experience in high volume, high complexity online systems needing integration across multiple technologies and consumers.
  • Must be flexible and ready to adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on premise to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
  • Hands-on technical working experience in the system analysis, design, architecture of complex, multitier development & production environments


Nice To Have Experience


  • Experience designing and implementing public cloud-based applications with experience in either Google Cloud Platform or Microsoft Azure
  • 3-5 years of banking/financial industry experience.
  • Experience designing and implementing highly available, extensible APIs.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
