My client is a global company bringing smart testing technologies and real-time data collection to the construction industry. They are looking for a Director, International Sales to join their Global Sales team. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team that has successfully grown new markets through a multi-channel approach. A documented track record of success in markets such as the UK, EU, GCC, or LATAM will be of particular interest. This role leads the effort to expand their footprint within the international markets they operate in, and effectively enter new markets as they are identified. Simply put, they are looking for someone to lead a team of highly skilled Regional Managers to absolutely dominate identified international markets.

Responsibilities:
- Close collaboration with their Marketing team on content and demand generation efforts.
- Ensure achievement of all performance objectives and revenue goals in each identified market and as a function.
- Negotiate conditions and contractual terms with channel partners.
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of their primary customers’ pains, their products, and solutions, and how to effectively communicate their values.
- Travel to visit prospects/customers and attend trade shows as needed.
- Identify the needs and challenges of prospective customers and each market.
- Hire, onboard, develop, and lead a team of high-performing, inclusive, and coachable regional managers, and BD professionals responsible for identified international markets.
- Directly support team members during prospect/customer visits in market as needed.
- Ability to execute public speaking engagements at events as needed.
- Ability to carry out presentations and demonstrations to stakeholders.
- Together with the VP Sales, identify opportunities for new market penetration, customer expansion, and new geographical markets, prospects, distributors, partners, and sales channels.
- Create, implement, and monitor sales activities, analyze results, identify gaps, and implement solutions to address issues or concerns, while improving sales training, and developing proper segmentation of customers.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Experience with channel sales partnerships (in construction preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred.
- Ability to thrive in environments where change is constant, fast-paced, and often with strict deadlines.
- Strong business acumen ideally with comprehensive industry knowledge in Channel Sales Partnerships.
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, with at least 3 of which were spent in growing international markets.
- Experience with any of the following: LinkedIn Sales Nav, ZoomInfo, Outreach, Salesforce, Dodge, Kennected, MS Office.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in English (additional languages are an asset particularly Spanish).
- Humility, a willingness to share the credit and receive / consider new ideas from others.
- Ability to travel across Canada, USA, UK, EU, GCC, and LATAM when necessary.
- A proven track record of leading international market growth, ideally including the UK, EU, GCC, and/or LATAM.
