Bindery Operator (Ottawa Based)

What Will You Do?

A bindery operator is responsible to set up and operate industrial printing equipment to produce quality finished products. 

• Review job orders to determine production time and quantities required
• Adjust machinery to ensure efficient operation and quality printing is maintained.
• Set-up and operate bookbinding equipment

What Will Help You Succeed?

Experience

Working on any of the below pieces of equipment will be considered an asset:

• Hot stamper
• Industrial Knives,
• Collator

Skills

• Experience operating industrial machinery is considered an asset
• Excellent Mechanical and Mathematical skills

Mandatory Requirements

• Ability to work all shift schedules including days, nights, evenings, and overtime as required
• Located in Ottawa ON, or willing to relocate.
• Secret Level Clearance, or ability to obtain secret level clearance
• Completion of Journeymen Apprenticeship & Journeymen bookbinder certification
