As a Product Manager for Plus Products, you will be responsible for both the strategic & tactical management of product development and go to market. Contribute to the product strategy to ensure that it is working to maximize business value to Plus Company’s network of agencies, their customers, and direct customers.
We’re on the lookout for someone with both entrepreneurial drive and product business discipline. A person with drive, passion and energy to make data valuable for our agencys’ offerings and business decision making. As a Data Product Manager, you will:

• Set key product objectives and develop product strategy
• Develop and maintain business proposals that make a compelling case for continued investment into your products.
• In collaboration with Product Owners, manage the backlogs and create user stories for current and future products
• Keep a finger on the pulse of our competition, and develop strategies and tactics to reduce their threat.
• Collaborate with other stakeholders such as product marketing on the creation of positioning for our products.
• Develop a roadmap for data, science, and machine intelligence centered products to illustrate our vision and plan into the future and connect to financial business plan.
• Develop transition plans for internal teams and clients for product tests and releases
• Meet and anticipate the needs of current and future clients
• Run agile scrums with engineering team leaders to manage development cycles for data product components, coordinating across product scrums to ensure that every team has defined scope and clear objectives
• Drive buy-build-partner analysis, and where necessary, review potential partner relationships for the product.
• Know why we are winning and losing in the market, and drive changes to our product and processes to create improvement.

Requirements

• Comfortable using collaboration tools such as Slack, JIRA
• Functional requirements expert and user acceptance assessment
• Work with key stakeholders to manage the product backlog and prioritizing them based on changing requirements
• Strong understanding of the marketing tech and advertising tech landscape
• Attend necessary product team rituals (Daily Stand-up, Iteration Planning, Iteration Review, PI Planning)
• Track record of using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making.
• Preferred Agile / Product Owner certification
• Monitor impact of on revenue and operating expense
• Strong and innovative in pedagogical methodology for complex subject matter, to educate the market
• Metrics-driven: Strong analytical and synthesis skills are a must, including the ability to absorb and process large amounts of data into actionable information.
• 5+ years of marketing, development, data, science, and product management experience.
• Tech savvy and passionate about building products, innovating products, and innovating product business models.
• Curious and comfortable holding professional conversations with our target buyers and users.
• Masters degree or greater preferred.
• Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues, cross-functional teams and third parties.
• Desired experience using SQL, AWS, GCP, Python and R for analytic tasks
• Understand and support inter-team dependencies, and escalate issues when necessary
• Must be a strong writer and public speaker in front of large, senior groups.
• Subject matter expert in ML/AI with cloud big data technologies
• Experience with best practice agile scrum development and lean agile principles.
• Metrics-driven: objective and result attainment, business operation and financial planning.
• Technical enough to make smart decisions, direct architecture and know what the team is doing to help find paths forward.
