Job Description

Our favourite SE Calgary client, specializing in the finance industry, is seeking a Customer Support/Onboarding Specialist (overnight shift) to join their growing and ever-evolving team.


This hire will be an integral part of the CSR/Onboarding team, working overnights in a vital escalation position. This is an independent role that requires a self-sufficient, self-motivated, and resourceful key player who can think outside the box.


This role works with clients and vendors, and is responsible for onboarding, setting up phone systems, and any required troubleshooting support along the way. The ideal hire will have good knowledge in tech support and customer service, and will be able to thrive autonomously. Someone who is confident, analytical, and resourceful in nature will be perfect for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities:


The key job functions are:

  • Handle transfers and manage dollar figures in correspondence
  • Onboard new clients/vendors, set up clients with their systems
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve users’ problems by carrying out manual A-Z troubleshooting
  • Guide users through diagnostic and troubleshooting processes, include use of diagnostic tools and follow verbal instructions
  • Act as a key escalation contact for client/customer communications via phone and email correspondence


Education: High school diploma/equivalent


Qualifications:

  • A satisfactory credit check is required
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Exceptional written communication
  • A satisfactory criminal record check is required
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle


Experience:

  • Experience in a call centre environment is an asset
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Customer Service/Tech Support is required

  • Loyal, eager, and willing to learn and grow within the role
  • Strong task accuracy and able to troubleshoot effectively
  • Able to communicate processes with clients/customers
  • Self-starter with strong problem-solving skills


Base Salary: $19 - 20 per hour

Work Hours:

  • Sunday - Thursday
  • 40 hours per week
  • 11:00pm - 7:00am or 12:00am – 8:00am
