Pay Rate: $35.00/hour + 4% vacation pay

Location: Remote – Calgary, AB MUST BE IN ALBERTA

Job function overview

The Supplier Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for all activities associated to the digital onboarding of suppliers in the SAP Ariba platform. The Supplier Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for the process of onboarding suppliers to the database as well as ensuring that suppliers have been properly segmented and evaluated for risk to the organization. This role will also be responsible for assisting in the implementation and adoption of the full Procurement Systems and Governance team's tool kit across the business.

Key Deliverables

• Carry out a supplier onboarding and data strategy as set by business leaders

• Responsible for digital onboarding of suppliers in Ariba SAP SLP and Risk, includes supplier outreach, communication, and troubleshooting.

• Responsible for facilitating necessary information between internal and external stakeholders to support timely supplier onboarding.

• Provide procurement support on project teams as required.

• Provide support as needed to the Procurement Systems and Governance team.

• Responsible for adhering to Procurement policies and procedures

• Work closely with peers (procurement buyers, category managers, nutrient leads, Supplier data management leads, etc.) to ensure the Procurement Systems and Governance processes and procedures addresses customer needs

• Work closely with suppliers to ensure that business's message as it relates to the use of SAP Ariba is communicated and enabled properly.

• Perform additional task as assigned and defined by the Sr. Manager, Procurement Systems, Services & Contracts.

MUST HAVE:

• 4-6 Years onboarding experience

• Broad experience in supply chain, business development, and procurement processes

• Broad experience in supplier data management, implementation, supplier relationships, and P2P processes and tools

• Knowledge and experience in the functional elements of supply chain

• Knowledge and Experience in SAP Ariba's Supplier Lifecycle and Performance (SLP) module

• Direct communication with suppliers regarding sensitive information

• Advanced skills in Microsoft, Excel, and other MS Office applications

Nice to have:

Experience with a large-scale ERP functional and technical operation

Bachelor’s degree

Certifications in disciplines such as Procurement (SCMP/CPSM), Inventory Management, Lean/Six Sigma, or Operational Planning
