Job Description

Randstad is hiring for a Customer Service Specialist for our client in Waterloo, ON. You will be responsible for communicating with customers and providing solutions to problems, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills. Previous experience in automotive or manufacturing industry is an asset.

  • Great work-life balance working Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm
Responsibilities
  • Enter new sales orders for select customers
  • Check on open orders (EDI and spot buys)
  • Quote new business with assigned customers
  • Lead point of contact for all matters concerning assigned customer(s)
  • Communicate updates to customers and highlight any potential upcoming issues
  • Develop and sustain long-term relationships with assigned customers
Qualifications
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Previous experience in customer service field. Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry is an asset.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Previous experience with EDI system is an asset
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be patient while working under pressure
