Reports to: Customer Service Supervisor

Schedule: Start Times: 9am, 10am or 11am, Monday - Friday

Pay Range: $19-21/hour

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties And Functions

• Processing orders
• Communicates with customers for the purpose of:
• Delivery status
• Creates custom documents for US-bound shipments
• Dispatch customer orders to appropriate carrier
• Co-ordination with our carriers’ dispatchers
• Customer issues
• Supports other team members to complete daily transactions
• Other: Special projects assignment
• Creating bill of ladings for all truck deliveries loaded at our facilities
• Reporting includes:
• Multi-Tasking with computer entries, phone calls and delivery drivers
• Complete order process, data entry, and confirms status of deliveries
• Problem resolution
• Health and Safety: Participate in driver safety and staff safety program for Distribution Department
• Manages daily scheduled deliveries
• Create billing for rail car transactions
• Interacts with delivery drivers, directs drivers to product location for loading and completes transactions on return to Scale House
• Responds to Customer inquiries

Qualifications

Education/Experience

• Minimum High School Diploma, Customer Service experience an asset

Knowledge/Skill Requirements

• SAP and Microsoft Excel experience preferred

• Must be able to work within a team environment and interact with a variety of people in all plant departments
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Demonstrates leadership/ability to take ownership of tasks and make decisions, takes initiative and is self-motivated
• Must possess excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

• Able to lift small objects frequently, weighing no more than 20 lbs.
• This is sedentary in nature but may require occasional periods of standing and walking

Work Environment

• This position is based in an indoor, climate controlled office space
