POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Country Manager to lead our sales efforts and drive business growth in Canada. As the Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and increasing sales of aftermarket automotive parts throughout the country. This is a high-impact leadership role where your exceptional sales acumen, business acuity, and managerial skills will be instrumental in achieving our organizational goals in the Canadian market.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. SALES STRATEGY AND EXECUTION:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies tailored to the Canadian market to drive revenue growth and increase market share.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential customers, forging strong relationships with key accounts and partners.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and team success.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to continuously refine sales strategies for maximum effectiveness.
2. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT:
- Proactively explore and establish new partnerships, distribution channels, and strategic alliances to enhance our market position and expand our customer base.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential areas for product expansion.
3. PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT:
- Set clear sales targets and KPIs for the sales team, regularly tracking performance and taking corrective actions when needed.
- Analyze sales data, prepare reports, and present insights to the executive team for informed decision-making.
4. TEAM LEADERSHIP:
- Foster a high-performance sales culture, creating a collaborative and motivated team environment.
- Recruit, train, and onboard new sales team members, equipping them with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
5. CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, understanding their needs and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Ensure exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process and post-sales support, promoting brand loyalty and customer retention.
6. COMPLIANCE AND REPORTING:
- Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Prepare regular sales reports and performance updates for senior management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Proven track record of at least 8 years in sales and business development, with a focus on increasing sales and achieving revenue targets.
- Minimum of 5 years in a leadership or management role, overseeing sales teams and driving performance.
- Experience in the aftermarket automotive parts industry or related automotive sector is highly desirable.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, capable of translating data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive relationships with clients and partners.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian automotive aftermarket and customer behavior trends.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Fluency in English, proficiency in French is an asset.
