As a Corporate and International Security student, you will be in a unique position that offers a wide range of challenging duties and learning experiences. This new position to Canadian Natural will offer insight into how security vulnerability assessments are built to protect our people and assets, as well as how the security systems are integrated into our core businesses and critical infrastructure wherever we operate. Additionally, you will be asked to provide your insights learned in your academic studies and how they apply to our industry. This sharing of knowledge is grounded in our mission statement, which focuses on teamwork and collaboration.

• Shift schedule: 5d2x/8 HR
• Job location: Calgary, AB
• Term length: 4 months

Key Accountabilities

• Assess security vulnerability in high-risk regions, ensuring to meet government regulations
• Review and assess Canadian Natural’s overall security program
• Review Canadian Natural’s threat assessment process
• Create Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
• Review internal intelligence monitoring and assessment processes

What You Bring To The Role

• Prior/current experience in the following would be considered an asset:
• Currently enrolled in or have graduated within one year from the Master of Strategic Studies program with a focus in Military, Security and Strategic Studies
• Basic French language skill would also be considered an asset
• Military service
• Law enforcement
• International security
• Intelligence service
