Create Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

Review and assess Canadian Natural’s overall security program

These activities require diligent follow-up with candidates, employees, and managers to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all information and paperwork

Act as subject-matter expert and provide guidance to candidates, employees and managers related to security matters

Manage the Corporate Security In-Box and respond to queries

2+ years experience in corporate security clearance administration

Experience with Human Resource Information system and Online Security Services system

Knowledge of security clearance process

Successful completion of a University degree in Economics, Business, Finance, or related discipline or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.

Staff supervisory skills including knowledge of collective agreement administration and interpretation, labour relations principles and practices, and relevant employment legislation

Sound knowledge of financial, budgeting and economic principles and practices. 

Demonstrated knowledge of applicable legislation, Acts, and industry standards. 

Leadership ability to coordinate multiple projects and ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment.  

Demonstrated ability in the Region’s leadership and corporate core competencies.

Maintain Uniform, Certifications, Credentials, Identification diligence always during shift.

Manage access and protection in security areas including gates, docks, patrol, and visitor.

Must possess a minimum of 2 years experience in security.

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Project Management experience (e.g. process implementation, etc.).

Proven interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully engage with a variety of audiences, particularly CEO’s and other senior managers.

Diploma or Degree in related field and professional certification from a recognized security authority.

Minimum 7 years’ experience in law enforcement, regulatory enforcement or equivalent experience.

Networking skills (within Siemens security with the Regional Companies, authorities, institutions, other companies, etc.)

Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to work under stress in time critical situations.

Bachelor degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in Corporate Security environment/Law Enforcement;

Prepare accurate and timely written reports to the Senior Management team on findings and recommendations;

Private Security certification such as CFE (ACFE), PCI (ASIS), CFI or CFCI (IAFCI) (an asset);

Corporate Security or Law Enforcement background, including experience in security interviews;

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Display strong inter-personal skills such as when conducting security interviews;

Bachelor degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in Corporate Security environment/Law Enforcement;

Prepare accurate and timely written reports to the Senior Management team on findings and recommendations;

Private Security certification such as CFE (ACFE), PCI (ASIS), CFI or CFCI (IAFCI) (an asset);

Corporate Security or Law Enforcement background, including experience in security interviews;

Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Display strong inter-personal skills such as when conducting security interviews;

Dealing with Client requirements on-site & reporting to ASP Manager

Standard First Aid with AED/CPR level C, must maintain the certification, ASP offers recertification at no cost

Must be able to demonstrate strong report writing skills and possess knowledge of report writing essentials
