THE JOB
Monday is looking for a Copywriter & Junior Strategist to join our Vancouver team. In this role, you’ll exercise your creativity, strategic skills and attention to detail daily. You’ll be tasked with delivering on-brand copy and content for Monday’s clients—including copy for social, ads, campaigns, products, web and blogs. You’ll work alongside our strategists to write brand voice guides, develop out-of-the-box campaign concepts and support brand positioning development. You’ll also support numerous projects in varying industries, writing both creative and functional copy. The person best suited for this role is a passionate, experienced writer and who’s ready to stretch into some strategy work. You thrive bouncing between multiple subjects and brand voices. You will report to our Senior Strategist while working closely with our team in our Vancouver Headquarters (hybrid: minimum 2 days/week in-office).

DAY TO DAY YOU WILL
- Manage Monday’s own social channels—planning and creating content with support from the Monday team
- Work with and create editorial plans
- Write for a variety of channels—websites, digital ads, email, social, blogs
- Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers and photographers to develop campaigns and social media content
- Participate in client discoveries
- Carefully track your hours and adhere to project scope set out by the Project Manager and Senior Brand Strategist
- Participate in weekly team meetings
- Support strategy team in creating brand positioning, voice and style guides
- Edit copy for other team members as needed
- Develop campaign concepts alongside the Senior Brand Strategist
- Contribute your insights to the Monday blog on a regular basis

- You have a proven ability to work with a cross-functional team and collaborate
- You’re an entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys a fast-paced environment
- You have 2 or more years experience writing digital copy (including website copy, ads, email and social content)
- You’re a relentless learner who explores new topics and finds joy in reading and researching
- You are passionate about the outdoors and value an active lifestyle
- You’re a self-starter who is deeply organized—you’ll be touching multiple projects at once, so keeping tabs on your deadlines, to-dos and calendar will be key
- You’re able to give and receive feedback on creative
- You have a strategic mind and can easily switch between concept and execution
- You take full personal responsibility for your life and actions. You never blame—you find solutions.
- You have proven expertise in writing and editing—impeccable attention to detail and ability to work within a voice and style guide

- University degree in English, communications, marketing, publishing or related field / or proven experience

Salary: $60,000–70,000 plus quarterly performance bonus
