Sr Copywriter, Nhl/Ufc

As the Sr. Copywriter, you will report to the Group Creative Director, EA SPORTS and work across our NHL and UFC portfolios. You will craft content and messaging frameworks for both our brand and product, as well as deliver creative treatments including both short-form and long-form scripts (and everything in-between). You will work closely alongside creative and brand partners, and others cross-functional teams as we develop our marketing campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Develop campaign creative in partnership with art directors
• Utilize available insights to learn and iterate
• Copyedit marketing plans, proposals, and other materials as needed
• Work closely with creative leadership, and other writers on style and writing development
• Craft copy for a wide variety of channels using the appropriate voice for a particular brand and customer
• Copyedit and proofread all materials submitted by outside partners as needed
• Support writing product and feature copy as needed
• Develop and craft voice, tone, and messaging frameworks

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in crafting copy, editing, and proofreading
• You have a keen interest in the world of sports and/or games
• Passion about your craft and eagerness to make an impact through writing
• You are comfortable making changes to work based on manager and client feedback
• The ability to deliver high-level copy of varying lengths in a rapid manner
• You can communicate with stakeholders at all levels
