Job Description

What our Content Marketing Manager will do:

  • Optimize website copy and content journeys to improve website and landing page visitor to contact conversion rates
  • Support internal stakeholders such as Sales, Customers Success, Product and your Marketing teammates on overall marketing objectives and campaigns as needed.
  • Optimize nurture content and MOFU/BOFU sales enablement material to improve contact to deal conversion rates
  • Ensure all content fulfills its purpose such as generating awareness, thought leadership, and/or engagement, compelling the reader to take our calls to action, with the goal of ultimately filling the Sales funnel with organic and paid leads.
  • Own the SEO strategy, working with internal and external stakeholders, updating strategy and keywords as needed, implementing changes, monitoring for improvements, and creating or revising web copy to increase the amount of high quality traffic to the Pagefreezer website
  • Researching and making connections with customers, influencers, and thought leaders to collect and incorporate pertinent market and industry insights into marketing materials and opportunities
  • Enable Pagefreezer to achieve its Mission, Vision, and goals by owning and executing our content strategy to increase attract, engage, and convert potential customers
  • Build and maintain a solid understanding of our products, target markets/industries, and Customer Personas, keeping up to date with current trends and stories.
  • Create or procure high-quality, accurate, and consistent assets to support the strategy, including blog posts, white papers, abstracts, articles, landing pages, email campaigns, sales materials, website content and social media content.
  • Produce thought leadership material for demand generation campaigns
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to strategize and identify Pagefreezer’s unique voice and brand and ensure all our content is in alignment across various channels
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on the digital marketing strategy to attract and convert leads in Pagefreezer’s target verticals

What makes you a great fit:

  • Able to work 40 hours a week and currently authorized to work in Canada (anywhere in Canada works for us, we’re remote-friendly!)
  • The know-how to seamlessly use multiple tools and platforms for content creation, delivery, and measurement
  • Experience creating content for a regulated industry, like healthcare, financial services, government, telecommunications, is a strong plus.
  • You are mind blowing at proofreading, grammar, and editing skills
  • Familiarity with SAAS Marketing best practices, with first-hand knowledge of how Marketing impacts Sales and Revenue in a SAAS company
  • 5+ years of experience in SAAS marketing content creation for highly technical niche solutions
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and lead conversion strategies with the necessary audience research skills to support it

  • Work experience in an agency or a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in English, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or any related field
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, regardless of how many projects are on the go
  • Understanding of the SAAS buyer’s journey and the types of assets required at different stages of this journey
  • We use tools such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Hubspot, and Google Suite
  • Impressive and adaptive writing style
  • Experience in copywriting to engage and convert readers
