Job Description

One of our clients in Vancouver, BC is seeking a talented and creative Graphic-video content creator and content creator to join their team. The ideal candidate will understand leveraging a brand through creative visuals and video content. You will collaborate closely with our marketing coordinator to create engaging content for social media platforms while also contributing to website design and optimization. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing our online presence, attracting and engaging our target audience, and driving organic traffic to our website, social media and Amazon listings.


Responsibilities


Graphic Design for Social Media Marketing

  • Develop and maintain a consistent visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Create visually compelling graphics, images, and illustrations for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns.
  • Design eye-catching social media ads, banners, infographics, and other promotional materials to increase brand awareness and engagement.
  • Reach out to influencers and potential customers on social platforms to boost engagement
  • Establish connections with influencers in the baby toy niche.
  • Reach out to PR opportunities to build brand awareness


Content Creation and Management

  • Search for opportunities to cross-promote with other brands
  • Monitor social media platforms, respond to user comments and inquiries, and manage online community interactions.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure timely content delivery and maintain consistent brand messaging across platforms.
  • Assist in creating engaging and persuasive content for various digital marketing channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and digital advertisements.
  • Manage content calendars, schedule posts, and track content performance to optimize engagement.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and emerging social media platforms to recommend new strategies and tactics.


Analytics and Reporting

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for digital marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms, and marketing automation software to gather data and derive actionable insights.
  • Provide regular reports and insights on campaign performance, audience behavior, and trends to guide decision-making and optimize strategies.


Content Creation

  • Coordinate shoots, provide art direction, design, optimize and manage all social branding assets.
  • Assist in creating engaging and persuasive content for various digital marketing channels, including website copy, blog posts, social media updates, email newsletters, and digital advertisements.
  • Keep track of visual inventory so you can focus on in-stock items when creating content.
  • Schedule posts in advance for automatic posts on all social media profiles
  • Focusing on customer photos/videos/reviews and finding creative ways to feature them on our page.
  • Create content for social media profiles


Email Marketing

  • Assist in creating and implementing email marketing campaigns, including segmenting audiences, writing compelling copy, and designing email templates.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant data protection and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CAN-SPAM) in all email marketing activities.
  • Monitor email campaign performance, track metrics, and conduct A/B tests to improve open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates.


Qualifications and Skills

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and provide insights to improve campaign performance.
  • Proven experience in digital marketing, preferably in a coordinator or similar role.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and ability to adapt writing style for different audiences and platforms.
  • Excellent visual design skills, including layout composition, typography, and color theory.
  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, with a portfolio showcasing previous work in social media marketing and website design.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, nDesign) or similar tools.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, SEO, SEM, and content marketing. Social media management tools, and marketing automation software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Web Design, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize projects effectively.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital marketing. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative marketing.
  • Ability to multitask, manage deadlines, and adapt to evolving project requirements.
