Job Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Low Rise Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of their latest project in the Greater Hamilton Area. The successful candidate will be responsible for running the site from start to finish, ensuring that all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the construction site, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
• Ensure that all work is completed safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations and codes.
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the construction process.
• Communicate regularly with the client to provide updates on project progress and ensure that their needs are being met.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, including daily logs and reports.

Requirements:

• Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team of subcontractors and other workers.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think creatively and find innovative solutions to complex issues.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• At least 5 years of experience in low rise residential construction, with a strong background in project management and site supervision.
• Knowledge of construction codes, regulations, and best practices, with a commitment to safety and quality.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
