Job Description

We’re hiring a Compensation Analyst to join our team! You’ll assist with research, design, analysis, planning and administration of Phreesia’s global compensation programs in the US and Canada. The Compensation Analyst will provide detailed analytical support for various compensation activities and collaborate with cross functional teams such as HR, Accounting, Audit, Finance, Legal, and Payroll. You’ll also play an active role in the preparation, administration, and analysis of the organization’s compensation review and variable bonus cycles in Workday. If you have experience conducting job evaluations and market analyses to ensure appropriate compensation levels are established and maintained, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assists in conducting internal and external market research, analyzing competitive positioning and market trends and oversees the administration and maintenance of the Comp Analyst system.
  • Provides compensation recommendations in consultation with HR Partners and/or Talent Acquisition for promotions, adjustments, retention and new hires.
  • Takes a lead role in participating in salary surveys throughout the year; gathers data per requirements, determines appropriate matches for positions, and submits information to 3rd party survey vendors; conducts analyses based on the survey results and keeps relevant information on salary evaluations.
  • Assists in preparing compensation-related communication pieces such as brochures, incentive plan documents, and pay administration publications as needed.
  • Participates in the design, configuration, and testing for new functionality and/or enhancements in Workday for compensation-related initiatives.
  • Maintains standardized job descriptions and conducts detailed job/market analyses to ensure appropriate compensation levels are established and maintained; performs job evaluations for new positions to determine appropriate salary range, FLSA status, etc.
  • Plays an active role in the preparation, administration, and analysis of the organization’s compensation review and variable bonus cycles in Workday.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Technically savvy; proficiency in using Microsoft Suite (e.g. Excel and Word) is essential, including the use of pivot tables and v-lookups.
  • Experience with CompAnalyst and/ or other market pricing system
  • Minimum of 3 years of related compensation administration and analysis experience, preferably at a public and/or SaaS company.
  • Detail oriented with a focus on data integrity and accuracy and strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Workday experience is a plus but is not required.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks is crucial and strong decision making, organizational and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to overcome unforeseen obstacles

Base pay for the U.S. is $75K - $85K USD, depending on qualifications. In addition, Phreesia also offers equity as part of an attractive & comprehensive Total Rewards package.
