About The Role
We’re looking for a Climate/Sustainability Analyst to join our team and make a difference!
Climate will increasingly be a lens through which we do business at Intact and the Climate/Sustainability Analyst will be at the centre of helping to build and deliver the action plans that will enable achievement of the objectives in our climate strategy.
This position reports to the Vice President, Climate and will work closely with the Chief People, Strategy and Climate Officer.
Here Are a Few Ways You'll Make a Difference

• Preparing reports and presentations to show progress on the projects you manage
• Collaborate with the Social Impact team on climate as it relates to Intact’s Social Impact Strategy and helping society
• Contributing to a complete emissions accounting exercise for the company and help establish an internal emissions reporting framework
• Invest in continuous learning about climate transition and the path to Net Zero, sharing your knowledge with the climate team in our effort to build a strong and impactful Climate Centre of Excellence for Intact.
• Fostering climate engagement across business units by mobilizing knowledge, commitment, and action.
• Together with leaders from your assigned business units, build and execute action plans that carry out our climate strategy. This includes crafting and driving initiatives that will help society, and also create competitive advantage for Intact in a rapidly evolving environmental landscape.
• Collaborate with the Climate Team in:
• Conducting research & analysis, and make presentations to a variety of audiences

Your Skills And Abilities

• Exemplify Intact’s Values: Integrity, Respect, Customer-Driven, Excellence, and Generosity
• Strong research, and communication (oral, written and presentation) skills
• Strong project management skills
• Post-secondary degree/certificate in related field (e.g. Environmental Science, Engineering, Sustainability)
• Adaptability and agility and ability to work in a dynamic environment
• 2 to 5 years of corporate working experience focusing on climate change, and/or sustainability required
• Advanced skills in MS Office Suite, particularly in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
• Understanding of P&C insurance and/or the finance sector is considered an asset

Flexible Work Arrangements
This role fits into Intact’s hybrid approach, which will give everyone the best of both worlds – a mix of home and in-office workdays. Schedules will be determined in partnership between individuals, managers, and the team.
