As a Claims Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing defense strategies and resolving insurance claims efficiently. What We Will Count On You To Do

• Determine liability and damages exposure of insured parties
• Coordinate and manage claim files, liaising with various stakeholders
• Report to insurance company representatives
• Appoint, direct, and collaborate with external legal counsel for defense strategies
• Review and assess new claims for coverage and take appropriate action

What You Need To Have

• Interpersonal skills for effective teamwork
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• High attention to detail
• 2+ years of experience or educational background in legal, insurance, claims adjusting, accounting, or business
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong computer skills in MS Office
• Positive attitude and desire to succeed

What Makes You Stand Out

• Fluency in both official languages (preferred)
• LL.B./J.D. or LL.L. degree with a non-traditional legal career path
• Membership in the Law Society of Ontario or equivalent with a non-traditional legal career path
