Job Description
We are working with the market leading AI automation platform. Their platform is helping inform better decisions, research and discoveries. They are trusted by over 300 enterprise clients and have raised over $20M in funding.We are looking for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their esteemed leadership team. This is chance to work directly with the CEO to provide trusted counsel to really make a difference.
About The Role – Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Establish a solid financial foundation with appropriate systems that will allow the business to grow effectively and sustainably (organically and through M&A)
  • Provide insightful and trusted counsel to the CEO, Senior Leadership Team and Investors on key business decisions, financial forecasts and budgets
  • Manage external stakeholders and engage with third-party finance groups on corporate funding and future business strategies
  • Serve as a key member of the senior executive team by providing input on financial implications to shape and guide major business decisions and objectives
  • Oversee all Finance & Accounting functions
  • Report directly to the CEO
  • Improve financial performance and business growth by analyzing the company's key financial indicators
About You:
  • Prior experience with a company that is backed by outside investors
  • M&A and post-merger integration experience is a plus
  • Strong leadership, communication and team building skills with a focus on DEI
  • Proven success as a key member of an ELT
  • Experience in a fast-growing SaaS organization (enterprise preferred)
  • Experience scaling up a rapidly growing SaaS company 2-3x
  • Strong FP&A skillset
  • Must be located in Ottawa
