Chief Financial Officer (Ai, Saas)

The Role

Looking to build on your track record in the fast-growing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) space?

NetraScale is recruiting a part-time Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance and accounting function for a next generation tech venture, and help drive the business through the next stage of development.

You will work closely with the product, technology, legal, operations, marketing and customer success teams, oversee day-to-day finance operations and be part of a collaborative and innovative digital-first environment.

You will have direct input into strategic decisions for NetraScale in addition to more standard accounting, taxation and finance duties. A keen intellect, interest in emerging technologies, and a commercial outlook are therefore a must.

Requirements

• A willingness to get hands-on with balance sheet, commercial accounting and corporate tax filing.

• Experience in corporate tax filing, multi-year financial forecasting and working capital finance planning.

• The ability to build robust finance structures and budgetary controls.

• The ability to identify and implement the right finance metrics for a SaaS based business.

• Knowledge of funding options and working capital management and reporting.

• You have some experience of accounting for international structures.

Nice to have

• Experienced in running finance functions in an early-stage tech start-up, and taking the business through the stages of rapid growth with due diligence, compliance and robust budgetary controls.

• Partnered with multiple areas of a business (operations, product, technology, R&D, marketing etc.) and passionate about making Finance approachable.

• Experienced in investor relations, grants and reporting to senior leadership on a regular basis.

• Good understanding of digital-native (ideally AI or SaaS) businesses and understands the key KPIs which drive high performance and enterprise value.
