The person who will occupy the position will have as main mandate to analyze and plan the technological architectures of the business sector. She will support industry stakeholders - analysts and engineers with varied expertise (IP, Wi-Fi, Security, SDWAN, 4G, 5G) and operations - to ensure the robustness and integrity of the solutions offered to customers. business. He will also ensure coordination with the other sectors of the technological department, as well as the link with the product teams and the pre-sales engineers.

Main responsibilities:

• Provides technology watch to plan the development of business products and services and collaboration with product managers. We are therefore looking for advanced expertise in IP, SD-WAN and security networks and connectivity solutions, in addition to a good understanding of the tools and systems necessary to manage the technologies,
• Brings major innovations that help to advance the processes and procedures of the business sector,
• Proactively participated in writing the required documentation and technical requirements during the RFP process following a need for technological evolution or the launch of a new service.
• Link with network architecture, solution, business teams,
• Ensures the implementation of roadmaps and standardization criteria for products and services,
• Through its expertise and advanced technological experience, exerts an influence on strategy within the Business Technologies main direction,
• Makes recommendations for the development and implementation of complex projects for Videotron's business customers,

Qualifications

• Ability to synthesize complex issues and put technological developments into perspective in relation to a business plan.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent training;
• Excellent knowledge of Videotron networks and solutions an asset;
• We work on networks and interconnect them, at home and in the cloud. Advanced skills in transport and IP networks, wireless networks, DOCSIS and MPLS wired networks, SD-WAN solutions, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and enterprise security;
• Recognized expertise in technological architecture in the field of telecommunications and services;
• Bilingualism;
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant and varied experience;
• Recognized technological expert in the industry realizing major innovations to contribute to the definition of technological strategies for Videotron business;
• Collaborative spirit and attentive to the needs of the sectors;

• Recognized expertise in enterprise technology architecture in the field of telecommunications and services;
