Description

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise to design and develop Business Intelligence dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
• Assist with gathering business and information requirements.
• Work with clients to prepare, structure, and transform data to ensure quality and integrity of report visualizations.
• Provide supporting documentation and knowledge transfer to Client/Ministry/Organization as required.
• Ensure all aspects of business intelligent solutions incorporate organizationally defined standards for accessibility compliance.
• Provide technical expertise to solution complex systems of integrated data of varying types, structures, and sources.
• Strong communication and collaboration to work with clients to iteratively develop and deploy Microsoft Power BI solutions to meet client needs.

Skills

Experience and Skill Set Requirements

Requirement 1 – Technical Knowledge:

• Experience developing and implementing business intelligence solutions such as Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience with information technologies such as servers, storage, networks, operating systems, database technologies, security technologies (e.g., authentication), development tools and programming languages.
• Experience with low code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience with SQL and No SQL database technologies.

Requirement 2 (20%) – Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

• Experience assessing information and system needs of clients, and assist in the development of improved, cost-effective solutions.
• Familiar with industry best practices, policies, and strategies for deployment of business intelligence solutions.
• Experience developing test cases and perform QA testing on business intelligence solutions.
• Experience designing and developing alternatives based on business/client needs and provide recommendations on solutions.

Requirement 3 (20%) – Communication & Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Work independently, with minimal supervision, as well as in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• You can lead discussions on systems development options and technical processes to project teams.
• Effective in making presentations and conducting product/solution demonstrations.

Requirement 4 (25%) – Computer Skills:

• Knowledge and experience using shared folders and working with collaborations tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience using Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power Automate and Power BI.
• Experience using Software Development tools.
• Proficiency using various office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio to develop documents and presentations.
